WA Correctional Education Program Receives Community Recognition

Auswest Specialist Education and Training Services (ASETS), the public prison education unit RTO in Western Australia, was presented the Western Australian Training Award for The Small Training Provider of Year over the weekend. ASETS will now represent WA, and by extension correctional education programs nationally, at the national Australian Training Awards in Canberra on November 23rd.
ASETS has previously won State and national awards in 2005 and 2009 but that recognition was in the training initiative and innovation category. This is the first time ASETS has applied in the larger Small Training Provider of the Year category.
